Are we strong enough for The Buck Fifty?

March 7, 2023

The Buck Fifty is an overnight 150-mile relay whose mission is to "inspire a community through running with the mission to keep kids off of drugs." This April, 10 ISBH team members will run over 150 miles through Ross County to support the annual race. In addition to the relay, ISBH is also hosting and providing volunteers at the race’s 13th checkpoint. These checkpoints provide runners with a chance to rest and refresh as they move through their leg of the race.

The Buck Fifty was founded to combat the drug problem in Ross County. The originators and organizers believe that investing in the future of the youth is the best way to help. Currently, there are 8 local high school chapters of the Drug Free Clubs of America Program, a voluntary program with an average enrollment of over 50%. 100% of the race proceeds support these chapters.
