Sally works with organizations and governments to solve social problems in the intersection of housing, homelessness, behavioral health and criminal justice. Sally is the housing consultant for Stepping Up Ohio, a national initiative to house and reduce jail days for people with mental health disorders, and the Ohio Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI-Ohio) for the Fulfilling the Promise campaign. Sally was instrumental in the development and opening of the $1.2MM Adam-Amanda Mental Health Rehabilitation Center and helped raise nearly twelve million dollars for mental health housing in Ohio. As a former federal HUD technical assistance provider, Sally trained and assisted over 20 communities across the country end homelessness. Sally was a State Director for CSH, a national nonprofit that invests in supportive housing. She is the recipient of the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Affordable Housing. She holds a bachelor's degree in Social Work, and a Master's in Public Policy and Nonprofit Management from The Ohio State University.
