IHBT/I-FAST

What is IHBT? Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) is an evidence-based treatment model designed to address the needs of youth experiencing serious mental health concerns. The primary goal of IHBT is to prevent out-of-home placement or to assist youth in returning home from placements such as inpatient hospitalization or residential treatment. What is I-FAST? Integrated Family and Systems Treatment (I-FAST) is an evidence-supported family treatment model applicable to a wide range of child and adolescent mental health diagnoses. I-FAST is used at various levels of care, including Intensive Home-Based Treatment, focusing on specific symptoms and problems identified by families.
