Integrated Services for Behavioral Health announces the launch of "Open Office Hours," a new opportunity for community workers to connect with prescribing practitioners on a 1:1 basis. The aim is to create cohesion among team members and provide clearer paths forward when supporting patients.
Following the success of a collaborative meeting for Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) providers and staff attached to patients served by the MAT program, Behavioral Medicine has decided to offer this new opportunity for collaboration. The appointments will be facilitated by BH Med Care Coordinator Nessa Hughes, who will triage concerns to determine if she can quickly resolve them or if they need to be addressed by the prescribing provider. To schedule an appointment, clients can send their information and the nature of their concern to Nessa via teams, email, or chart memo with her name attached. If it's deemed necessary for the BH team member and the prescribing provider to have a conversation, Nessa will coordinate a block of time to discuss the client's need. An invite will then be sent via Outlook Calendar/Microsoft Teams calendar to schedule the appointment.
