On Thursday October 27th, we celebrated the opening of the new Walk-In Clinic for people seeking help to manage opioid use disorder. This clinic will offer assessment, health and physical and withdrawal management to those seeking support for substance use disorder. All individuals entering the clinic will have access to counseling, case management services and peer support for their ongoing recovery needs.

Representatives from across the city came to show their support and hear about this new program to serve Franklin. Those in attendance included individuals from Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther's office, Columbus Public Health Department, Mount Carmel Health System, Lower Lights Ministries and Sanctuary Night.

The clinic’s grand opening is on November 2nd at 9 am. Individuals seeking services should arrive early as this program is on a first come, first serve basis until capacity is reached each Wednesday. Those not wishing to attend a walk-in visit may still schedule an office or home-based appointment for services.
